- When third-party advertising and marketing providers, such as Zendesk Chat, Facebook, or Google, capture your information on our behalf. Examples of information captured by third-party service providers include:
- Content viewed during the visit
- Date and time of visit
- Amount of time spent on the website
- Visitor location based on IP address
- Demographic information
- Search terms entered on the website
How We Use Personal Information
The University of Michigan uses information about your interactions with the U-M School of Social Work website to:

Direct
Individuals subscribed to e-newsletters and marketing communications may opt-out using the prompts at the bottom of those communications. Visitors to the U-M School of Social Work website (excluding students, faculty, and staff) may choose not to share or use forms prompting for personal information.
