The Recruitment & Retention of Child Welfare Professionals Program

The Recruitment & Retention of Child Welfare Professionals Program aims to impact the child welfare workforce by:

• developing and delivering training that can enhance child welfare staff skills and decrease staff turnover
• better understanding the needs, qualities, and potential of the child welfare workforce through research on staff who stay and staff who leave

This project was funded by a grant from the Administration on Children, Youth, and Families, Children's Bureau, Department of Health & Human Services award # 90CT115 (priority area 2003.C.3).
