The Chronicle of Philanthropy is known as the primary news source for charity leaders, fund raisers, grant-makers and other people involved in the philanthropic enterprise. Biweekly issues cover current news, analyses of charitable trends in the United States and abroad, plus information on recent grants and gifts. Both print and online subscriptions provide full access to the Chronicle's searchable website, which features information on nonprofit management, continuing education, upcoming events, jobs, etc. The Chronicle's site map indicates those sections accessible to non-subscribers.

Federal Funds Express is published by the U.S. House of Representatives. It provides a weekly Federal Funding Report of all grant programs described in the Federal Register.

GPOaccess.gov (The Federal Register)
Use GPOaccess.gov to search U.S. government programs by field of service, posted in the Federal Register since 1995. The Register is the official daily publication for rules, proposed rules, and notices of federal agencies and organizations as well as presidential executive orders. It often provides the first information on pending legislation that may lead to grant programs. It also publishes the program guidelines and application forms for major new grantmaking initiatives.
