What are the differences between mini-courses , workshops, and certificate programs?

  • Mini-course: a brief course of study lasting less than a semester
  • Workshop: a brief, intensive educational program focused on imparting knowledge, techniques, and skills in a particular field
  • Certificate program: a series of courses in a designated area, which, upon completion, offer a document certifying that one has fulfilled the requirements of that particular discipline as outlined inthe course requirements.
