Alumni Society Fellowship in the Child and Family Program

The Alumni Society Fellowship in the Child and Family Program was made possible by gifts from SSW alumni. Students concentrating in children and youth in families and society are eligible for this award. Selection is based on demonstrated, outstanding potential for professional practice. Determination of awards is based primarily on all previous academic work, recommendations, employment experience in the human services, the applicant's written supplementary statement, and other application documents. This award is provided to an enrolled student.

Ara C. Cary Fellowship in the Child and Family Program

The Ara C. Cary Fellowship in the Child and Family Program was made possible by the estate of Ara C. Cary, a 1944 graduate of the School of Social Work. Students concentrating in children and youth in families and society are eligible for this award. Selection is based on demonstrated, outstanding potential for professional practice. Determination of awards is based primarily on all previous academic work, recommendations, employment experience in the human services, the applicant's written supplementary statement, and other application documents. This award is provided to an enrolled student.

Olivia P. Maynard Child and Family Program Fellowship

The Olivia P. Maynard Child and Family Program Fellowship is made possible by a gift from Olivia P. Maynard. The fellowship is used to support a new student in the children and youth in families and society practice area who has excellent academic standing. Selection is based on demonstrated, outstanding potential for professional practice. Determination of awards is based on an evaluation of all previous academic work, recommendations, human services employment experience, the applicant's written supplementary statement, and other application documents.
