Housing

There are a variety of housing options for University of Michigan students. Many students in the MSW program choose to rent apartments in and around the Ann Arbor area. The most affordable way to live in Ann Arbor is to share housing. Visit the School of Social Work housing website to find a roommate, list housing you have, find available housing, etc. This housing site is intended for U-M School of Social Work students only. Students must login using their uniqname/password to access this site.

The University Housing website also has complete information on all housing options. Graduate students interested in living in University Housing can apply to live in Northwood Community Apartments located on U-M’s North Campus.

Student should also consider living in Co-ops as they are a very affordable housing option. Co-ops are owned and run by the members who live in them--not landlords or the University. Co-ops are economical and convenient because members share the work necessary to run them. For more information go to http://www.icc.coop/.
