Request for change of concentration (Practice Method and/or Practice Area)
Admitted applicants who want to change their practice method and/or practice area concentration within the MSW program must submit a written or email (ssw.oss@umich.edu) request to the Office of Student Services for review and approval. The request must include the reasons for the desired change. If this change also affects the selection/choice of the optional minor practice method, this information should be included in the request. After fall orientation, students must submit a http://www.ssw.umich.edu/programs/classes/forms.html, which requires the signature of their faculty advisor and field director in order to change their concentration.
