Communication and dissemination of information
Information of importance and interest to enrolled social work students will be communicated via the School of Social Work Blog, student email addresses, and/or the student mailboxes (folder) located in the file cabinets by the first floor stairwell of the School of Social Work, near the northwest entrance to the building (South University Avenue). It is the student's responsibility to utilize these sources (particularly the Blog and email) to keep abreast of activities, deadlines, and other information of importance. The School of Social Work website also hosts an events calendar with all school related activities. Incoming students are automatically assigned a student mailbox and are added as members of the School’s MSW student email group (ssw.students@umich.edu) at the beginning of the term.
Important: Students should routinely check their student mailbox (folder), read the MSW student blog, and manage their email.
